Government system integration

Government system integration

What is government system integration?

With Government system integration we refer to system integrators that have a need for commercial of the shelf (COTS) infrared imaging cores which they integrate in their state of the art imaging systems used by governments all over the world.

It helps reduce costs, both during development as in production and reduces development time. It further allows the integrator to focus on what he does best: defining the full system specification, development, manufacturing and servicing.

Government System Integration refers to industrial integrators that develop and market systems for government institutes like police, homeland security, defense and general surveillance applications. Whether it is manned or unmanned, for land, maritime or airborne use.

Our customers integrate our infrared OEM cores into all kinds of sights, imaging cameras, PTZ systems, PODs or gimbals used in:

  • Perimeter protection
  • Situational awareness
  • Search and Rescue
  • Border surveillance
  • Fire detection and fire fighting
  • Traffic monitoring
  • Protection of critical infrastructure
  • Night vision
  • Pilot / driver assistance
  • Target acquisition and target identification
  • Law enforcement surveillance
  • Public safety and crowd control

What do we offer?

Based on a modular design Xenics offers cores in the various infrared wavelength ranges and can be combined with a wide range of industry standard communication interfaces and optics.

Shortwave infrared imaging cores

The XSW uncooled InGaAs family of cores with various image resolutions and wavelength range options, VisNIR or SWIR.

Midwave infrared imaging cores

The XCO cooled core, optimized for long range imaging applications, has various engine options. It can be based on InSb, MCT or T2SL sensors.

Longwave infrared imaging cores

Our XTM uncooled bolometer family of cores with various image resolution and sensitivity options (NETD)

What features are needed?

  • Easy connectivity
We offer standard digital or analogue interfaces for easy integration, operation and maintenance
  • Lightweight and compact design
A crucial point for all system integrators. Our XenicsCores are very light and extremely compact
  • Low power consumption
Power consumption can be an issue when integrating cameras into a (fusion) system. Our infrared cameras consume very little power and therefore easy to integrate
  • Advanced image processing for high quality images day and night
Autogain, automatic exposure control and contrast enhancement result in the best image quality in any condition
  • Modular design
Our innovative modular camera design results in 6 different interfaces on our XTM and XSW leading to an easy integration into any system
  • Perfect fit for fusion applications
XTM and XSW cores are perfectly fit for real time image fusion of SWIR and LWIR images

Professional service, knowledge and advice!

Secure in Air appreciates the professional service, knowledge and advice of Xenics in implementing the Gobi camera in our project GeoCampro. Our client was more than satisfied with the results, looking for (thermal) defects in the railways.
